How does Member's Voluntary Liquidation affect Employees?

Once a liquidator is appointed, all employees will be made redundant under their standard terms of their employment. Generally this will mean that the required notice period for redundancy will be given or more usually employees will be simply paid according to their notice period.

Given that the company is solvent and able to pay all redundancy payments in accordance with employee’s contracts and employment law, it would be unusual for employees to have a claim for unfair dismissal against the company.
